I am a native Arizonan that calls Texas home. I started oil painting at 12 years old in Scottsdale, Arizona, inspired by the beauty in the dry desert landscapes that surrounded me. Today, I call Houston my home & where my studio is based, but inspiration for my art spans across the globe. My husband and I love to travel, and my paintings reflect the many places we've been.  I often use use the stories of friends & families to create a painting.  My work primarily focuses on both oil & acrylic seascapes, landscapes, abstract, and contemporary impressionist subjects.
